Come Sunday the 11th March... @ Clancy's...
Rock Company will stage its first ass creamin' gig of the year.
'Rock Unplugged' was conceptualized sometime in early 2006, but never put to progress for a number of reasons... The main reason being that the current government initiated a ban on alcohol and tabacco sponsors... And as any good person knows, you can't have a gig... If you can't cover your overheads.
Right...
So it's gonna be VEVVVVVVY interesting... Mainly 'cos a lot of the bands that are playing are 'serious' musicians... You know... Not the conformist, 5 chord embracing caricatures that believe downplaying your ability will bring you fame and fortune.
You know... The upsurgence of "wanna-be'-s" who think its fashionable to sing an entire song on another key or a semi-tone flat OR imagining that releasing 'constipated crooning' sounds from their arses makes em sound like Chris 'I can't sing, but I've fooled you idiots into thinking I can' Martin.
This is how 'UNPLUGGED' is REALLY done. It's gonna be pure semi-accoustic whiplash... You'll get to see an entirely different side to some bands that are loud, dangerous and leave debris in their wake.
Paranoid Earthling... Fallen Grace... Tantrum... The legandary Thilak Dias & Co... & Stigz...
Ever wondered what the 'other' side of every Metal Head is? You know... The more subtle, intricate side... That's a little sinister... But still hard hitting and beautiful...
Hey it is a Sunday...
*You'll either be having a hangover and need to have a beer and chill listening to some GREAT music.
*You're bored outta your nuts... And you wanna relax and have some fun...
*You're a ROCK fan and have been waiting for an innovative gig for awhile...
*You're one of the 'crooning asswipes' who wants to come and see why all these bands are actually workling hard... To push their musical boundaries to new heights...
*It'll be one 'FUCK' of a gig...
Lamentations... All around...
11th March...
'Rock Unplugged'...
Watch the boys with balls show you how to really 'strip down.'

ass creamin gig... lol!
Gonna be one helluva gig, eh?
all my favourite local bands, too! I've seen Stigs and Earthling strum acoustic before but it'll be an interesting first to see Tantrum and Fallen Grace do it, too.
i agree. Simplicity should not equate nor masquerade for lack of talent.
