Creation spreads its wings
Humanity captures and cages it
Shadows in a mirror
Society’s brittle nests on fire; enrages

Burn them down
To the ground

In the silence of obedience
Hosts and parasites
Parasites and hosts
Flesh of the flesh – rotting bones and decaying souls

Crumbling depths of reason
Shattered truth of purpose
Learn to kill and let live
God made man and man made self destruction

Is technology our new disease?
Draining us of feel and thought?
Is money the bane of man?
The wretched hand that plagues us all

We burn our witches
Crucify our saviors
We tear down our temples
Persecute the weak

Burn them down
To the ground
Burn them all
To ashes and crimson rivers

Good versus evil
But who is the wolf and who is the sheep?
Who is the righteous and who is truly free from sin?
Who is the virtuous and who is vane enough to believe that humanity wants to be saved?
